In a world overflowing with conflicting wellness advice, it’s no wonder so many of us feel overwhelmed. Diet trends, expert opinions and endless "rules" can leave you spinning, unsure where to start—or even what to believe. But here’s the truth: wellness isn’t about chasing perfection or following someone else’s blueprint. It’s about reconnecting with your body’s wisdom and discovering what truly nourishes you.

I know this because I’ve been there.

Growing up on the East Coast in the 80s, my diet was a kaleidoscope of unchecked sugar and processed foods—think Velveeta, Pop-Tarts, and all the Coca-Cola a girl could ever want. I began exploring the connection between food and health during college, which inspired me to embrace a vegetarian lifestyle for eighteen years—seven of those as a committed vegan. I truly believed this was the “right” way to eat and felt fully at home with a meat-free diet. But after the birth of my son, I faced unexpected challenges: a persistent struggle with low milk supply and growing dental issues. These challenges sparked a deeper search for answers and a reevaluation of what nourishment really meant for my body.

Everything shifted when I discovered Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon. This book opened my eyes to the timeless wisdom of ancestral practices—an approach that prioritizes balance, intentionality, and deep nourishment.

Each phase of exploration brought me closer to understanding how food shapes not just our physical health, but our energy, mindset, and sense of purpose. But like many women, I found myself frustrated by the noise and contradictions of wellness culture. This is when I decided to pursue a formal education in Holistic Nutrition.

My mission became clear: to be the guide I wished I’d had. A voice of calm amidst the confusion, helping women reconnect with their bodies, rediscover their vitality, and feel empowered to thrive.

Through my own experiences and working with others, I’ve come to believe something simple yet profound: healed women will help heal the world. When we feel nourished, energized, and aligned with ourselves, we create ripple effects that transform not only our lives but the lives of those around us.
